Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears

Justin Fields Has Another Great Rushing Day But Bears Fall to the Lions

Well, the Chicago Bears found another way to lose today as they faced the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field, favored to win. Unbelievable how close this team is to winning games. Statistically, Jerrod golf went 19 of 26 for 236 yards and 1 touchdown. Jamaal Williams had 16 carries for 59 yards, one touchdown. Amon-Ra St Brown had 10 receptions for 119 yards for Detroit. The Bears had this game the whole time, things started going bad after the Justin fields pick 6, then there was a missed extra point after a spectacular Justin Fields TD run. Justin fills Had 13 carries for 147 yards, two touchdowns, threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns, had one interception. Even Cole Kmet got in on the action as he had four receptions for 74 yards, two touchdowns. So offensively, the Bears looked pretty good. It appears that the defense has taken a step back with the trades of Robert Quinn & Roquan Smith after giving up 30+ points in each of the last 3 games. Overall, I thought the offense looked pretty good. At some moments at the end of the game they couldn’t move the ball, or get another first down. This loss could be blamed on special teams. Missed extra point, which they eventually lost the game by one point, the defense in the fourth quarter just just couldn’t make a stop.

When asked what is missing for the Bears to finish QB1 Justin Fields said, “It’s execution”.
