Fendi L’acquarossa Elixir Perfume by Fendi, L?acquarossa elixir, by acclaimed italian fashion house fendi, was introduced in 2015, the third in its line of fragrances by the same name. Categorized as an oriental floral scent, this elixir also offers fruit and gourmand accents. The fragrance leads off with top notes of juicy cherry, followed by heart notes of creamy tuberose and lantana flower, the signature ingredient in this line. Base notes of yummy vanilla and woods anchor the scent. Lantana is a grouping of about 150 flowering plants in the verbena family. Fendi was founded in 1918 by adele casagrande, who changed her name after marrying edoardo fendi in 1925 and established the design house in her new name. Its beginnings were as a boutique that specialized in leather and furs. As it grew, it expanded into fashion, taking on a young designer named karl lagerfeld in 1965. Its first fragrance, named fendi for women, was introduced in 1985 and a series of new fragrances have been launched since then in collaboration with several perfumers. The original perfume in this line is l’acquarossa, which was launched in 2013 and followed by l’acquarossa eau de toilette version in 2014.
