The NFL playoffs start this weekend.  Saturday 01/04/20 the first game will be the Buffalo Bills at the Houston Texans.  Mancavestyle pick – Houston Texans by 10

The anticipated game will be the Titans at the Patriots.  The Patriots are playing in their first wild card game since 2009.  It hasn’t been a season of confidence for the Patriots this year.  The Patriots may not have had the talent they have had in past years but none the less find themselves in the playoffs again.  Just because the Patriots are playing in a wild card game doesn’t mean they are not still dangerous. They still have what many may see as the Greatest QB of all time as well as the Greatest Coach of all time.  Many industry insiders believe the Patriots will go down this weekend.  We believe that the Patriots may be able to squeak past this weekend.  MCS pick – Patriots by 14.

NBA

The New Orleans Pelicans went to LAL to face Anthony Davis’ new LA Lakers.   Anthony Davis had no mercy on his former team, scoring 46 points and 13 rebounds.  The Lakers went on to beat the Pelicans 123-113.  When asked about his game Anthony Davis stated that ”The first game in New Orleans was definitely a lot more emotional, not only going against my former team but playing in that arena again”, ‘Tonight, I think my teammates just gave me great opportunities and put me in great positions to score the basketball. I don’t think I did anything, especially I didn’t prepare any differently. Just came out and played basketball.”

Former Lakers Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram both had a good game against their former team.  Ball scored 23 and Ingram scored 22.  ”My body feels good and my confidence is where it is supposed to be,” Ball said.  The Lakers have now won four straight while the Pelicans’ four game winning steak ended.
