It was a close out game for the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, this was not an easy feat as the Pelicans have been giving the #1 seed in the west all they could handle.

Game 5 – Suns 112 – Pelicans 97
This series has gone back and forth with neither team being able to win two straight. Game 6 was no different as the teams battled the whole way. The young Pelicans team has been unbelievable and have proved that they will be a force to reckon with in the future. The Pelicans earned a lot of respect during this series but have now been eliminated by the Suns 115 – 109.
There was nothing but respect after the game.
Chris Paul ended the game with 33 points on 14/14 shooting (new record) 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
The Suns will next face the winner of the Dallas/Utah series.
